Chef Jen is awesome!!! We hired her for a private birthday party at a rented beach house in Holland. She is very professional, well-organized, and lots of fun. Jen helped select creative recipes that were very tasty and worked with everyone's food allergies/ preferences. Our group was a bit challenging with 5 kids and 7 adults. Her style was entertaining & engaging for everyone and the kids had a blast learning about cooking and being her little helpers. The dishes tasted fresh and wholesome. Very pleased with the whole experience she created and would definitely recommend Chef Jen for your special event.
Chef Jen was phenomenal and made our wedding weekend so special! She is an incredible chef, has tons of recipes of select from, is very flexible in customizing the menu, is a lot of fun to chat with and delivers a tasty, high quality meal. I highly recommend using Chef Jen to up level any meal!
Chef Jen catered a dinner for a family gathering of 15 at our home and it was fabulous. It was her first time at our home but she navigated our kitchen easily and very effectively with little direction from us. She was very receptive to our requests. Her menu suggestions were extensive and the meal she prepared was outstanding. Chef Jen is professional, efficient, tidy and has a wonderful bubbly, happy personality. We highly recommend her services.
Chef Jen was amazing! We had her for two different dinners for a group of 10 and then 8. The food was amazing, there were 3 courses and not only did everything look beautiful but it tasted delicious. Chef Jen was also really fun to be around and even took the time to explain what she was doing to two of our younger guests. I would highly recommend her for your next dinner party. We want to have more friends over just so we can use her again!!
Chef Jen was absolutely amazing to work with! She was extremely responsive and thoughtful in her planning and made me feel very comfortable having her cook for us in our home. Chef Jen did an in-home dinner for 8 at our house. She was so easy to work with and had excellent communication leading up to the event. She was professional, personable, and the food was amazing! It was such a treat to host a dinner party without all of the stress leading up to it as well as a fully cleaned kitchen after! Also, Chef Jen was such a fun person to talk to while she was getting everything ready. I would highly recommend her!
Chef Jen is amazing to work with throughout the entire process. She’s responsive and thorough in the planning stage. Day of she comes prepared for anything and the food is SO delicious! Her attention to detail and presentation is like that of the best restaurants, all in the comfort of your own home (or desired venue)! She’s more than a chef though, she is a great addition to the experience as she serves the food and interacts with the group explaining what she’s prepared. As if that isn’t enough, when the dinner is complete- you walk into a clean kitchen as if no one was there (except maybe a top notch cleaning service). I can’t recommend Chef Jen enough, we had such a wonderful experience with her!
We absolutely loved Chef Jen!! Jen prepared an amazing in-home dinner for our small group and we could not have been happier with everything!! Jen offers a huge variety of menu options - it was hard to choose from so many wonderful options! We absolutely loved every single thing she made for us - and there was so much food she actually plated our dessert for us so that we could enjoy it later. My husband and I had to take a local honeymoon because everywhere we wanted to visit was on fire, underwater, or in the pits of a plague. So to make it seem like a resort I thought a private chef would help. Chef Jen and her food ended up being the highlight of our honeymoon. I can say that every single thing she made was delicious. We had a private dinner and also two pre-made breakfasts and lunches. I am still thinking about her food. It’s better than anything you will find anywhere in West Michigan. Being from Chicago, a city obsessed with food, I can also say her food could take on any restaurant there with ease. If you hire her, you will not be disappointed.
When it was time to plan a formal dining experience for our high school students, I was grateful to be able to recommend Chef Jen. My extended family benefited from her expertise last October and when I contacted her, she enthusiastically helped me plan a menu to please 17 people: high schoolers and adults. We enjoyed four appetizers, a beautiful salad, a delicious entree, and a gorgeous dessert--all with vegan alternatives for one guest. She arrived with a smile, prepared diligently even as the guests peppered her with questions, and provided us with a meal beyond anything we could hope for by eating out. Her services are especially appreciated when we know eating out is so cumbersome right now. My friends and I are already trying to invent an event so we can hire her again.
